Last Thursday, October 31, the XII ASEPROCE Workshop took place in Madrid, at the Ilunion Pío XII Hotel, once again the chosen venue for this key event in the sector. The choice of this hotel is no coincidence: besides offering a space that perfectly meets our needs in terms of size and natural lighting, the social commitment of Ilunion, which seeks to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce, aligns with our values and adds a benefit that goes beyond what any physical space alone can provide.

We began the day with a respectful and heartfelt minute of silence in support of the victims and families affected by the recent catastrophe that struck the Valencia region. This gesture, though small, reminded us of the importance of community and the value of unity in difficult times, marking the start of an event that, year after year, promotes not only education but also solidarity and empathy in our work.

This year, the event reached a record attendance. With a total of 62 schools, 82 agents, and 15 service providers, we found ourselves posting a “sold out” sign, which meant that some interested schools could not ultimately participate. This was a milestone for ASEPROCE and proof of the growing interest and relevance of this event. We were also honored by the participation of international organizations such as the British Council, English Education Ireland, and English UK, which strengthened the value and prestige of our workshop.

The scheduling of meetings, as always, was facilitated by the Meeting Manager application from Study Travel Network, an excellent tool that enables smooth and efficient organization of all participants’ agendas. We are deeply grateful for their collaboration.

We enjoyed a sunny day that allowed us to have lunch outdoors, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere among attendees. The day concluded with a farewell dinner at Cuadrilla restaurant, a perfect ending that offered an opportunity for everyone to share a more relaxed and close moment after a day full of activities and networking.
