“The ASEPROCE Insights is Born: Connecting History, Opinions, and the Future of International Education”

ASEPROCE Insights launches its first issue with the intention of fostering the exchange of knowledge and opinions among professionals in the field of international education. Each issue will feature prominent individuals who, through articles and interviews, will share their insights on current topics, always keeping the focus on the interests of Spanish students and the agencies that add essential value to educational programs.

The magazine will also take a look back at ASEPROCE’s journey, from the association’s origins to the present day. To achieve this, we have reached out to historical figures, most of whom are now retired, who have graciously agreed to collaborate by exploring archives and sharing their memories and knowledge in writing. I assure you that the events that shaped ASEPROCE from its founding until now will leave no one indifferent.

This first issue includes contributions from two prominent figures in their countries: Chris Page, Executive Director of the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET) in the USA, and Bonnie McKie, Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Public Schools – International (CAPS-I) in Canada. Manuel Urraca, a founding member of ASEPROCE, has delved into the archives and his remarkable memory to share with us the first chapter of ASEPROCE’s history series. Finally, the Secretary General provides a summary of ASEPROCE’s successful Workshop, which has become a global reference point, bringing together the best educators and agencies with guaranteed quality.

In short, this publication will offer personal and free opinions from specialized professionals.
